Castle Danger ... is a 2-player, turn-based strategy game. Each turn, a player gets to add another piece to his or her side of the board, move pieces, and shoot cannonballs at the opponent. Who will hit the other's King first?

Castle Danger is available as a free computer game (play against your friends over the Net!). It was also previously available as an affordable tabletop board game (play against your friend on the other side of the table!).

Computer Game:

VBgamer: "... the simplicity in design can be misleading. Castle Danger leads to many different strategic scenarios. It is one of those games that is easy to learn, yet difficult to master." (a very generous) 9 out of 10!

Game Board Geek user comments:
"The computer game was absolutely amazing. Loved the simplicity! Beautiful."

"Played the computer version; very cool! Very well balanced! If you like chess you'll love Castle Danger. "

Tabletop Board Game:

Game Board Geek user comments:
"This is a great small board game. Very quick to learn, and play about 30 minutes. The game pieces are also nice for a home brew ..."

"This game is a good diversion for those people who enjoy chess but would like a lighter game to play now and then."

"A tight little game. Incredibly simple to learn. Almost chess like, but more bloody! A VERY nice effort for a self publishing job, and a nice price."

So where's the real Castle Danger?

Enjoy playing the game — let me know what you think!!
